About Treehouse Design

Treehouse Design, Inc. is a design/build company located on Cape Ann. We are a respected design firm because we understand building; we are a successful building company because we respect design. 

We believe in regional architecture, where understanding a building site and its place in the community greatly contributes to the way a building should be made. We believe that by respecting the unique environmental attributes of each property, we can make buildings feel at home on even the most difficult sites. 

As a regional company, we understand the difficult permitting issues that are a result of Cape Ann’s topography and its proximity to the ocean and tidal marshes.  We have extensive experience working with various municipal boards, and have developed relationships with an intricate web of craftspeople, subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.

While we provide architectural design services for a variety of projects and building types, our main focus is residential architecture.  It is in the design of residential structures that a diversity of functions, individual needs and artistic expression can be combined to create homes for life.
